The 30 minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout by LES MILLS takes you into overdrive to go hard, push harder and get you fitter, super fast! The short, sharp, demanding workouts combine weightlifting, running and plyometrics for a full body workout that increases aerobic capacity, strength, muscular endurance, metabolism and power.

GRIT Strenth 30 minute workout>
GRIT Strength™ is a workout based on he principles of high intensity interval training (HIIT): repeated bouts of high intensity that is greater than anaerobic threshold.

This results in a series of sharp spikes in heart rate, delivering the exclusive HIIT effect:
 
 Anaerobic threshold increases: HIIT enables you to go harder for longer
 Type 2 muscle fibre activation: HIIT gives you athletic, lean muscle tone and definition
 Fat loss: HIIT is a fat-burner. High intensity exercise is more effective at fat burning than low intensity exercise
 Hormonal response: HIIT stimulates the release of growth hormone - reducing fat and promoting the development of lean muscle
 Exercise capacity: HIIT gets you fit, fast
 

Every three months, Les Mills releases a new GRIT Strength™ workout plan with fresh exercises and music.

Day/Time: Thursday 7:00pm

Fitness Level: Advanced Beginner to Advanced

Requirements: Novices should notify the instructor before beginning the class.

Cost: Included in Health Club Membership(RLC Members) $10.30 (Non-Members)

Bookings are essential on Tuesday and Saturday as spaces are limited.
